- Geological evaluation of «Hartstein» units of Switzerland (2019-2024): We assesd siliceous limestone, Flysch and Molasse sandstone units («Hartstein») used as raw material for the construction and maintenance of the national railway and road infrastructure. - New heat flow map of the Swiss Molasse Basin (2019-2021): We have collected, compiled, harmonised and corrected existing and new temperature data of Switzerland in order to produce a new near-surface heat flow map of the Swiss North-Alpine Foreland Basin. » Learn more
- Pilot study on geodata of Switzerland’s gravel and sand occurrences (2018-2021): In this pilot project, an attempt was made to develop a methodology for assessing natural gravel and sand resources from available, published geodata on a nation-wide scale. » Learn more
- Historical natural stone quarries in Switzerland – Development of an online reference guide (suspended): In addition to the Resources Information System Switzerland (RIS), we are planning to set up a uniform online reference guide for entire Switzerland, covering 17,000 historical natural stone quarrying sites. » Learn more
